As the last of the Mohicans is the old crumbling house elevating itself above the stone wall of a former palace garden. In contrast with the surrounding buildings, it is a dignified town house, last good historical example. Unfortunately, it is condemned to destruction. We cannot avert its end. On its spot a new house is about to rise. We do not find the surroundings inspiring, the inspiration comes only from the previous original house. We take over its elementary shape, elegant proportions and order, we work with traditional materials – plaster wall and ceramic roof. We heighten the opposite mass of the shed and integrate it into the old stone wall.
