Biogas plant uses mainly manure in combination with cattle slurry, maize and grass silage for production of electrical power and heat. Fermentation process is held in a 42 m concrete fermenter of the type „ring in ring“. Open concrete storage tank has a capacity of 10.000 m3 which enables to store 6-month production of digestate. Despite the plant of total output of 1,2 MW belongs among the biggest, it does not harm the surrounding landscape. This is achieved by building the tanks partly below the ground level and also by using bright materials similar to the colour of sky.
